  • General Liability and Property

This is the most basic type of commercial insurance. Coverage is provided for accidents on your client's premises or at their customer's location. Your client's employees are covered if, for example, they damage a client's server. Please note that these policies exclude errors & omissions claims related to their services.
  • Professional Liability (E&O)

Professional Liability protects businesses against loss from a claim of alleged negligent errors & omissions in the performance of professional services. Claims may include loss of data, software or systems failure and claims of non-performance or negligence.
  • Multi-State Workers' Compensation

Required by law in most states when businesses have W-2 employees. It provides medical and disability coverage for on-the-job injuries or work related illnesses.
  • Employment Practices Liability

This coverage helps protect a company in the event that an employee alleges the employer's negligence or failure to provide a safe environment was the cause of an injury. Also offers coverage for employee claims of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination and wage and hour disputes.
  • Excess/Umbrella Liability

"Over and above" coverage for primary liability policies. Provides additional protection against catastrophic losses in the event of a large judgement or settlement against a business. Provides additional limits above each occurrence limit of the primary policy. Takes the place of primary insurance when aggregate limits are exhausted. Provides broader coverage for claims that may not be covered by a primary insurance policy.
  • Foreign Liability

This coverage provides defense against legal action arising from events occurring outside our nation's borders. Your client needs this insurance if their company manufactures and distributes products outside of the U.S., rents offices, runs meetings or attends trade shows in foreign countries or has any temporary or permanent employees working in a foreign territory.
  • First and Third Party Fidelity Bonds

Provides coverage when an employee steals money, equipment or other assets. First Party Fidelity covers your client's business and Third Party Fidelity applies to their employees working at a 3rd party location.
  • Employee Benefits & Fiduciary Liability

Employee Benefits Liability insurance typically is a component of Fiduciary Liability coverage. Employee Benefits insurance covers claims involving administrative errors pertaining to pension and benefit plans, such as failing to name an intended beneficiary on a life insurance plan. The intent of this coverage is to protect officers and partners as well as employees who act as administrators in any benefits plan in the event a claim is made against them.
  • Liability for Privacy/Unauthorized Access/Breach of Data/Hackers

Traditional commercial insurance policies do not protect a business when online client records and personal data are stolen or compromised. Security breaches can include a lost laptop or stolen Blackberry. Many states require companies to notify customers if a breach is suspected. The costs to notify and provide credit reporting can quickly add up. Cyber Protection offers coverage for privacy notification expense, business interruption and network vandalism expenses as well as content and reputational injury defense to your client's business.
  • Defense Base Act (DBA)

Federal law requires all U.S. government contractors and subcontractors to secure Workers' Compensation insurance for their employees working overseas. Employment activities may include work at any U.S. military base, construction and service contracts or work for American employers providing welfare or services outside the U.S. on behalf of the armed forces. All employees, regardless of nationality, must be covered under DBA.
  • Inland and Ocean Marine

If your client's business operations includes sending and receiving goods, it's important to be certain that their insurance covers the products when they are being transported. Inland Marine coverage protects portable commercial property as well as "instruments of communication or transportation" including bridges, tunnels, piers or antennas. Ocean Marine is insurance covering damage to ships or vessels and the goods they carry while on the ocean or inland waters.
