Here are some of the most common questions our technology insurance specialists hear on a daily basis. If you have further questions after reading this FAQ, please contact one of our tech insurance specialists.
What does CCBsure® stand for?
Computer-Centric Business Insurance Program. Originally, CCBsure® catered exclusively to computer consulting businesses. As technology has evolved, so too has the ability of our Program to cover a broader range of Technology businesses. Today, thousands of computer consulting, software development, IT staffing and systems integration companies and contractors rely on CCBsure® to provide the insurance their business needs.
Who is the Tech Insurance carrier?
CCBsure® uses only the most financially secure, "A" rated insurance companies. A.M. Best provides consumers with information about the financial stability of insurance companies by assigning these companies a rating. An "A" rating is considered excellent and assures consumers that insurance companies with this rating are financially sound with the strongest claims paying capabilities.
Who is ISG International?
ISG is the Program Administrator for the CCBsure® Insurance Program. G. Philip Feldman, CEO of ISG, developed CCBsure® in 1990. Today, ISG specializes exclusively in IT Insurance Services and has several offices nationally. ISG International has realized an astonishing growth rate as more and more IT companies and individuals turn to
CCBsure® for their business insurance needs.
How long does it take to get a quote?
Although we ask you to give us 48 business hours to complete your request, same-day coverage is available if needed. If your technology company is larger, the process may take a little longer, depending on underwriting circumstances. In most cases, however, you will have some type of pricing indication within 48 business hours.
How can I Purchase Technology Insurance and how will I be billed?
If you are purchasing the online General Liability package for Contract Professionals, we accept Visa or Mastercard online. If you are purchasing one of the
CCBsure® products that includes Professional Liability or Workers' Compensation, or if it is necessary to rate your coverage outside of our online rating system, you may either receive a bill directly from your insurance carrier, or from ISG International, depending on the policy/policies.
Will I receive confirmation of coverage?
Yes. We will send you a binder confirming the coverage has been placed, allowing you to show your client proof of your insurance coverage. You will then receive a policy shortly thereafter.
What will be sent to my client?
A Certificate of Insurance. We will need the name, address and contact person for your client's place of business.
Can I receive a blank Certificate of Insurance?
No. For legal reasons, we will need the name, address and contact name for your client each time a Certificate of Insurance is issued.
Can
CCBsure® review my clients' contracts for their insurance requirements?
Absolutely. Our experienced staff of tech insurance professionals are familiar with the insurance contract language of your clients and will be happy to review these requirements and indemnification provisions for you. It must be understood, however, that all legal documents, including contracts, should also be reviewed by your legal counsel.
Do the Liability policies include Workers' Compensation coverage?
No. Workers Compensation is a separate policy that includes employers' liability. In order to provide you with a quote for Workers' Compensation, we will need to know, among other things, your company's total payroll as well as the respective states in which the work will be performed.
What types of payment plans are available?
Payment plans vary depending on factors such as the insurance company used and the amount of premium. The
CCBsure® package for contract professionals will, in most cases, require payment in full in conjunction with the start date of your insurance. For larger companies whose premium is more significant, there are more options available for payment.
Can I buy just the Errors or Omissions (E&O) portion of the Package?
While E&O coverage is available on a stand-alone basis, our customers often tell us that the combined
CCBsure® product is more affordable than quotes they have received for E&O alone. Furthermore, it is in your best interest to have your liability policies with a single insurance carrier to avoid possible disputes between insurance companies should a liability claim occur. One package means better coverage and faster claims handling when you need it most!
What other coverage might I need?
CCBsure® can address all of your technology business' insurance needs. From Commercial Liability to Disability, Workers' Compensation, Crime and allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination, the
CCBsure® staff understands more than insurance - they understand how these policies need to be combined to properly cover your technology business. CCBsure has been providing Insurance Services to the IT industry since 1977.
How do I go about getting Certificates of Insurance sent to my clients?

CCBsure® customers. Certificates of Insurance - the proof your client needs that you have the required business insurance - can be obtained quickly by either faxing, emailing, or calling in your request at 1-800-336-5659.
